Alexandra Norodom

 

Alex is the Centre’s Senior Programme Manager. She is an international development professional with over 9 years of programme management experience in the research and policy sector. Her expertise lies in operationalising multi-partner research and policy programmes across geographies. She has a particular interest in understanding how artisanal craft can support more diversified and sustainable livelihoods in rural and urban communities across South-East Asia.

Most recently, Alex was Senior Programme Manager at ODI in the Politics and Governance programme where she oversaw operations across the programme portfolio and provided strategic programme management support, including managing key partnerships, supporting programme strategy development, and coordinating business development.

Before that, Alex was Senior Project Coordinator at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) in the Human Settlements Group where she led the programme management of large action-research projects focusing on urban development and environmental issues in the Global South. She was seconded to a joint World Resources Institute (WRI) and C40 Cities initiative, the Coalition for Urban Transitions, as Engagement Advisor to support the Coalition’s advocacy and engagement activities.

Alex holds an MA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Glasgow. She is French-Cambodian (Khmer) and is currently based in London.
