Hyeran Jo is Associate Professor of Political Science at the Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University. She is the author of Compliant Rebels: Rebel Groups and International Law in World Politics. Her research revolves around the questions of political violence, world politics, and international humanitarian law.
Her research has been funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, among others.
